Blastoff! A book is born

After an intense process of recording, writing, editing, designing and revising, the first boxes of Rise Up: A Stilter's Adventures in Higher Consciousness have arrived. It's a sweet little book detailing how the act of getting up on stilts has revealed new perspectives over four decades at the head of the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Parade. A variety of local personalities chronicle their experiences, along with my own view and that of The Stilting McGinesses. I'm grateful to my wonderful editorial and publishing team, to those who contributed images and words, and to my friends and family who have supported me along the way. I love my community!
