Embarking on an adventure with a good reading list…
Today I met with my friend and colleague Matthea Cremers who lives in Amsterdam as well as in Santa Barbara, where she is a long-time and much-loved member of the Environmental Studies Program faculty. Thea teaches courses exploring Gender and the Environment, Human Environmental Rights, and Tourism. I consider her to be one of my teachers, and over tea, in her lovely home, we talked about some of the books she recommends. Thea and the books are pictured here:
